Ladies and gentlemen, if you are coming to Gampel Pavilion tonight for the second-round playoff game between UConn and Florida, be forewarned.
Do not try and bring Goldfish - the cheese kind (or aquatic, come to think of it) - into the building. They will be confiscated and tossed into the trash, just like a bottle of water would if you were flying to Cleveland.
When the person with the Goldfish asked a person in charge why this was necessary he was told "You were aware of the no food or beverage policy on game day, correct?"
Uh, guess not. Freaking Goldfish?
